About

This site is, for the most part, a project to bridge the gap between the practice of professional urban planning and contemporary anarchist theory. A great amount of applied anarchist urban planning theory and practice does exist, but in the realm of the professional planning practice, very few openly anarchist dialogues exist. Thus this site to help in the evolution of the planning profession.

Articles and links here touch on both the physical-planning side of planning cities in an anarchist world and on planning cities based on our transformed social relationships in an anarchist world.

This site was started as a graduate school project and continues to be maintained predominately by the site founder and a few others.
